The rifle range is now open.
There will be maps (1 per lot, feel free to make copy ’s if you need more) given out with permits this year. Please study the map and be sure of the
areas that can be hunted on the ranch. All hunts, including Grouse, require a permit available only through
the Office and are distributed according to the Sourdough Rules and Regulations. This is in response to members
wanting to better clarify exactly where they can hunt, and will hopefully eliminate any hunting violations.

Turkey Hunting
Because of the new over the counter sale of Turkey permits in our region we have reviewed the population on Sourdough
and decided there are not yet the numbers to warrant hunting of them on the Ranch.We will keep close tabs on this and if their
numbers increase we will consider some sort of limited draw hunt in the future,But for now there will be NO hunting of Turkey
allowed on Sourdough.
General Hunting Info
Remember no hunting of ANY kind is allowed in site areas this means most of the top part of the Ranch,hunt the canyons.
Also remember there is NO vehicular traffic of ANY kind allowed off the roads or down Burma & Danial's canyons they are
gated and your game will have to be packed out. Wear your Sourdough permit where it can be seen this will help identify Trespassers.The
weather looks like it may help and make this a good year for us, so good luck and be safe.
Regular deer tags for Sourdough members go on sale on Sept 7. The cost is $5. If there are any tags
left on Oct 1 they can be bought for guests.
Sourdough guest tags are $20. Remember 1 regular & 1 guest tag per lot.

ALL HUNTERS - NOTICE
1. YOU CANNOT HUNT WITHIN ANY CAMPSITE AREAS.
2. ROAD HUNTING FOR ANY OF
THE HUNTS IS NOT ALLOWED ON ANY SOURDOUGH ROADS.
3. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE A LOADED GUN (IN CHAMBER) OR AN ARROW
(NOCKED) IN ANY ARCHERY BOW IN YOUR VEHICLE WHILE HUNTING ON SOURDOUGH.
4. YOUR PROJECTILE CANNOT BE SHOT OR
GO AROSS ANY CAMPSITE AREA.
5. ALL YOUTH UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT WHILE HUNTING ON RANCH.

IF YOU ARE ON THE OUTSIDE EDGE OF A CAMPSITE AREA THAT BORDERS A CANYON THAT FACES AWAY FROM THE CAMPSITE AREA, YOU MAY SHOOT
IN THE DIRECTION AWAY FROM THE CAMSITE AREA TOWARD THE CANYON.
7. WEBER COUNTY SHERIFF DEPUTIES AND RANCH MANAGEMENT
WILL ENFORCE THESE AND OTHER SOURDOUGH RULES.
YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HUNT BY FOOT OR ON AN ATV, VEHICLE, OR HORSE
IN ANY OF THE SITE AREAS. THIS INCLUDES ALL HUNTS.
THE AREA BETWEEN ROCK CREEK RESERVOIR, THE MAIN ROAD,
LEFTY'S LOFT AND ENVIRO HILL WAS DISCUSSED CONCERNING THE ALLOWING OF ANY TYPE OF HUNTING IN THIS AREA. IT AS DECIDED
NO HUNTING IN THIS AREA WOULD STILL BE RETAINED AS IT IS STILL A SITE AREA AND NOT CONDUCIVE TO HUNTING SAFETY.
